What was the hardest part about creating a WordPress website? I think that the hardest part of this assignment was taking what I learned in HTML and applying it to WordPress because they are so different in nature.
Do you have any future plans for your website? Not at the moment.
Did you gravitate toward anything in particular during this class? I gravitated toward the easiness of HTML. WordPress was much more difficult to learn in such a short time, but since most of the class was HTML, I have a better understanding of it.
Is there anything you feel you would like to go deeper on? I feel like there was very little time in the class to learn about WordPress, with only 2-3 weeks to grasp it. I would have wished I had more time to learn more about the fine-tuning that comes with a WordPress site.
Do you feel more empowered to hire or be a web designer in the future? No, because there was very little instruction on many of the other tools in WordPress that I could have learned in this class.
What have you gained from taking this course in relation to your degree? I feel that this can help me when I do have startup ideas, and I’m not just creating this super basic website for my product/service. Instead, I taught myself how to create marketable websites and better content.
